Our Lab's mission is to develop novel strategies towards treating cardiac disease using interdisciplinary approaches from Biology, Stem Cell Technologies, Advanced Biomaterials, Tissue Engineering, and Chemistry.

3-5 June 2026: Michael, together with Valeria Nicolsi and Jonathan Coleman, organised the annual EuroMXene26 conference at Trinity College Dublin.
21st April 2026: Michael and Aoife attended TERMISEU2026 in Mallorca and gave a presentation.
17th April 2026: Annalisa and Diana won the Best Posters Award at the Microscopy Society of Ireland (MSI) event.
